Sally started her career in education as a high school teacher, teaching math to students with learning disabilities in St. Louis and New York City. She then moved back to her hometown Bay Area as a math coach at John Oc’Connell High school, before becoming a Program Specialist at DCYF, and then on to the Beacon Initiative. She has a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Cornell University, and a Masters in Math Education from City College of New York. Outside of work, Sally spends most of her time chasing after her twin toddlers, Micah and Amelia. She also likes to sing karaoke, play board games, run, and do math.
