Chris Tsukida, Director at Richmond Village Beacon Center
Chris is originally from the Peninsula and joined Richmond District Neighborhood Center in 2009, where he served as a Site Manager at Lafayette Elementary School, a High School Programs Manager at George Washington High School and climbed his way to Beacon Director. He served as a Site Coordinator for 1 year under the District of Columbia Public Schools and was also a Research Associate in the National Council on Crime and Delinquency in Oakland. Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies at UC Davis. He's passionate in serving and supporting his staff and the community for a brighter future. He still resides in the Peninsula with his fiancé and new puppy.Here are some special appreciations from his Executive Director, Principal, and the San Francisco Beacon Initiative:
