Maysha Bell, Beacon Director at Willie Brown

Maysha is the Senior Director of Beacon and Youth Services with Bayview YMCA. She joined Buchanan YMCA in 2007. Starting as a Program Coordinator she advanced up the ladder to become Hub Site Program Director and ultimately, the Western Addition Beacon Director at John Muir Elementary School. Her passion, commitment and experience fostered a transition from Western Addition to Bayview to oversee Willie Brown Beacon. There, she continues to support the development of youth and families in the community. Maysha obtained her Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Cal State East Bay.Here are some special appreciations from her Executive Director, and the San Francisco Beacon Initiative:
