Sarah Ballard-Hanson, Bayview Beacon Director

Sarah is the Senior Director of Beacons & Youth & Teen Services for the Bayview YMCA. Sarah previously served as the Director of Education at a Jamestown Community Center in the Mission, a teacher coach, and a SFUSD high school Spanish teacher. She received her Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs/Latin American Studies from Lewis and Clark College, as well as her Master's of Arts in Education in Teaching. Sarah has been the Beacon Director for Bayview Beacon Center at Phillip Burton High School for the 3 years.Here are some special appreciations from her Executive Director, Principal, and the San Francisco Beacon Initiative:
