My Beacon Story: Sylvia Yee

In this #mybeaconstory video, we talk with Sylvia Yee, Vice President of Programs at the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund. Sylvia was instrumental to the founding of Beacons in the early 90s and in ensuring the continued success of the public/private partnerships that lie at the heart of the Beacon Initiative today. For her contributions to Beacons, she was honored with a Beacon Pioneer Award at the Beacon 20th Anniversary Soiree. Beyond Beacons, she has been a tireless advocate for children, youth, and families in the Bay Area and nationally.
